Holly McCamant

Originally from Minnesota, Holly came to Europe as a Rotary Youth Exchange Student in Southern Denmark. Afterwards, she moved to Northern Germany, where she is completing her bachelors degree in European Cultures and Society at Europa-Universität Flensburg. There she worked as an Assistant Secretary at the European Centre of Minority Issues, where she was a co-organizer of their annual summer school and worked with their Teaching in Diversity Initiative. Previously, she worked for five years as a newspaper columnist at the local newspaper, and has written for numerous blogs. Her time on the Danish-German border led to an interest in research with national minorities, which she plans to carry out in the Cypriot context as well. She is currently studying abroad at the University of Nicosia with the Erasmus Program.
